Back to blogging after a pause of <em>(checks notes)</em> 12 years?! My oh my, what is time, even.</p> <p>I started this up again for one main reason: <mark>an outlet for meandering thoughts connected to my professional work</mark>. For many years, all things connected to web and graphic design has been hobbies and interests of mine. But since 2021, when this became my full-time professional work, I have seen the need for somewhere to compile my thoughts, findings, musings and questions. I used to have some DJ sets here as well, but you know&hellip;recording rights and all that.</p> <p>Once a year, for more than 20 years by now <em>(yikes)</em>, I get together with some friends for a few days, play games and just hang out. The last day, we have a friendly, creative contest on a given topic. You can contribute with whatever you want, be it a song, a poem, knitting, programming, a game&hellip; Looking back at the dozens of entries I&rsquo;ve made, it often ends up being a short film. I&rsquo;m not sure why, but there is something with the medium that allures me. The mix of sound, music, visuals to create a tension, an emotion, just the right amount of pause for comedic effect&hellip; Maybe I am a theatre kid by heart.</p>
